Abstract: The new business model of car sharing is the result of combining the internet of things technology with car using. Car sharing contributes to resolving traffic and environmental issues for its convenience, economical, and environmental protection. With discussion and analysis of the business model and technological foundation of car sharing, the article discusses the possibility of developing car sharing in China and proposes related policy recommendations.
