Abstract: Strengthening commercialization of S&T research results and optimizing allotment of S&T resources are critical to China’s current efforts in changing its way of economic growth and achieving economic sustainable growth. Based on several surveys and data analysis as well as discussion on the significance of the commercialization, the article aims at presenting the actual situations and major barriers in this area. It then suggests that S&T financing is an effective tool in optimizing resource distribution and promoting the commercialization systematically.
