Abstract: Strategy for America Innovation was released on the white house website in February, 2011.The report says the economic growth and competition capacity with other nations depend greatly on its innovation capacity. America must play leading role in innovation, education and infrastructure investment. On one hand, the government has to foster the creativity of its people and increase its investment in innovation. On the other hand, the government has to change its running style, focus on economic growth to face the challenges of the 21st century. In its conclusion, the report summarizes America’s achievements in innovation after the innovation strategy’s releasing in 2009, and introduces the newly established innovation schedule and the areas that the government will keep punching.
