Abstract: In 2007, EU released “Joint Technology Initiatives (JTI)”to promote public-private partership about major technologies within EU.JTI is recognized by government,industrial circles, and academic circles together. This report introduces the selection mechanism, organization structure, institution of rights and responsibility of JTI and its revelation to China. For China's future development, it believes that China should expand public-private partnership and build organization structure which is based on industrial programme selection mechanism and suits for extensive public-private partnership.
