Abstract: The basic research expenditure grows rapidly, but its long-lasting small proportion of R&D expenditure causes the queries of the statistic data of basic research. This paper explains the main reasons for the difference and verifies the objectiveness of the statistic data through the standard of China's basic research data, the comparison of statistic data and real input situation, and the reliability of micro statistic data.
