Abstract: Based on the data of national sample survey, a quantitative analysis of the concentration of scientific research funds has been done in this paper, which is charged by scientific researchers. There is about 90% of the research funds concentrated in 20% of the researchers. Scientific research funds are also highly concentrated in researchers with administrative titles. It indicates that China's scientific research funds are excessively and unreasonably concentrated.
