Abstract: During 2000 to 2012, the global share of China's domestic patent application increased from 2.9% to 35.6%, ranking the first in the world, up from the fifth. The global share of patent grands increased from 2.0% to 20.9%, ranking the second, up from seventh. With the rapid growth of quantity and scale, the quality of China's patent is also rising steadily. The international application of PTC increased obviously, ranking the third in the world in 2013.
