The 34th Report in 2013: The International Experience of Cultivating Professional Farmers and the Policy Suggestions

Abstract: In China, the transfer of rural surplus labour force in agriculture is speeding up. As a result, the cultivation of professional farmers becomes an important part of agricultural modernization. It developed much earlier in developed countries and has accumulated lots of successful experiences. This paper studies the main characteristics of foreign training system and its policy direction of professional farmers cultivation. Then it proposes some policy suggestions on the cultivation of China's professional farmers.
