40th Report in 2013: The Analysis of the Attraction of S&T Occupation and Its Influencing Factors

Abstract: The attraction of S&T occupation has declined in western countries, yet this phenomenon is not obvious in China. The attraction of S&T occupation in China is still quite strong, especially for scientists and engineers. Chinese public choose to work in science and technology field mainly because its contribution to the society and its social reputation. What's more, the interestingness of S&T work also plays a positive role.
