75th Report in 2010: Recommendation on Promoting the Development of Knowledge-Intensive Business Services Industry

Abstract: With developed countries gradually transferring from “industrial economy” to “service economy”, Knowledge-intensive business services (KIBS) industry plays more and more important role in social and economic development. . Although KIBS has been developed very rapidly in China in recent years, more attentions and policy supports are still needed. Based on the definition and classification of the industry, the report summarizes its global trend and analyzes the development and major issues of KIBS in China. Then policy recommendations are also proposed in the report.
