Abstract: With the development of global carbon trade, carbon footprint standard and authentication, which are the core technology that can decide the carbon price, are paid more and more attention by governments and enterprises. After the Copenhagen Conference, developed countries and related international organizations were busy in making standards of low carbon economy. This thesis analyses overseas and domestic carbon footprint standard and authentication, and the measuring method of carbon footprint. It proposes that China should set the standard of carbon release from major products, and build data base of carbon footprint, and make plans to deal with "carbon footprint" of major industries.
