Abstract: Government Procurement is an effective way to promote the growth of SMEs. This paper studied the measurements adopted by US governments, and found that US government helped SMEs achieved 23% of federal government procurement contract amount. It points out the weakness of Chinese governmental procurement system in supporting SMEs, and gives related policy suggestions.
