Abstract: Scientific instruments is the foundation of S&T industry development. Its developmental level will decide the national innovation ability and industrial competitiveness. But China's scientific instruments stuck in the development for lack of core technology. Laggard industrial development has seriously influenced China's indigenous innovation. This paper analyses the problems of China's scientific instruments development and proposes related policy suggestions.
