CISTRAT organized its 7th international training workshop on STI policy research and method from September 3 to September 20, 2018. Mr. Hu Zhijian, Executive Director of CISTRAT, and Mr. Phillip Pypaert, Programme Specialist from UNESCO Beijing Office, welcomed trainees from around the globe on the opening ceremony which was held on the morning of September 3.

During the 3 weeks of training, CISTRAT arranged 19 lectures related to STI policy and 9 field visits to research institutes, companies, science parks, etc.

The closing ceremony of this workshop was held on September 20, when international trainees commented on the workshop and received their training certificates from Mr. Hu Zhijian, Executive Director of CISTRAT.
