On the afternoon of February 28, Kim Jongseon, Chief Representative of Korea Sceince & Technology Cooperation Center (KOSTEC), paid a visit to CASTED upon invitation, and gave a lecture titled “Science and Technology Policy in the Context of Shared Economic Development”. The lecture was moderated by Vice President Sun Fuquan, and attended by over 30 CASTED research fellows.

Mr. Kim Jongseon elaborated on the science and technology policy background of sharing economy, the relationship between sharing economy and science and technology, and the direction of science and technology policies. After the lecture, the participants had an in-depth exchange of views on such topics as the comparative studies of Chinese and Korean cases of sharing economy and the relationship between shared innovation and inclusive innovation, and gained a deeper understanding and more inspiration on the development of sharing economy.

As the Chief Representative of KOSTEC since February 2018, Mr. Kim Jongseon is mainly engaged in the research of innovation policies, including technology innovation and strategy of companies, regional innovation development, and resolving social and public problems through science and technology.
