During October 17-18, Dr. Zhang Xu, President of CASTED, and Dr. He Guangxi, Director of the Institute of International Scientific and Technological Relations participated in the Thematic Forum on Think Tank Exchange of the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation and the plenary meeting of the Belt and Road Studies Network (BRSN).

The Thematic Forum on Think Tank Exchange of the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and jointly organized by Xinhua News Agency, China Center for International Economic Exchanges, and China Public Diplomacy Association. Hundreds of experts and scholars from global think tanks engaged in in-depth discussions. The plenary meeting of the BRSN was co-initiated by Xinhua Institute and 15 other think tanks from home and abroad. At present, there are more than 100 think tank members from the Belt and Road countries.

During the meeting, Director He Guangxi was also invited to give a speech entitled "The B&R Scientific and Technological Innovation: from International Collaboration to Open Innovation Ecosystem", at the Parallel Session 4, "New Space for BRI Cooperation: Health, Green, Digital, Innovation", and exchanged ideas and knowledge with experts and scholars during the Parallel Session.
